Trauma doesn't only affect emotions. It can change how you sleep, think, parent, work, make decisions, trust others, and engage with everyday life. You may notice yourself:
When trauma changes how you think, feel, or function, healing involves more than simply waiting for time to pass. Whether you've experienced a traumatic event, institutional harm, a personal injury, discrimination, or another life-altering experience, counseling can help you move beyond survival and reconnect with the life you want to live.
Recovery is possible. Together, we'll focus on reducing rumination, restoring functioning, rebuilding confidence, and creating a path forward that reflects your values—not your trauma.
